Osama Bin Laden killed? Here's what REALLY happened. | Thursday, May 05, 2011 |

Alright, so the whole world is abuzz with the Operation Geronimo news. Osama Bin Laden is killed in a strike by American SEALs and like everything American, this news too is shrouded in controversies and there are numerous conspiracy theories doing the rounds. The way the whole situation was dealt with by the US authorities does raise eyebrows of doubts. There's no way that 4 US choppers penetrated so deep inside Pakistan and returned without raising a flag; and Pak came to know only when Obama told them. They are claiming that they used radar evading technologies and blah blah. Really....?? We are buying this? They can fly almost to the capital of a country without anyone knowing? No less to an army cantonment? We think too highly of "American technology". Also, if America had taken the risk of being discovered, Pak would've retaliated for misusing its air-space and it'd have escalated to war like situation. Also, Pak would've understood that US knows about Abbottabad and would've tipped Osama off and whisked him away. And Pak could have easily claimed later "Who, us? We know nothing". America couldn't take that risk. Here is what I think happened.

Fake pic circulating on net. (NOT released by USA)

  • USA came to know of Osama's hideout in Abbottabad. They ran surveillance for some time and confirmed his presence there.
  • They established ISI and Pak army indeed had facilitated that safe-house for Osama and were guarding it from a distance.
  • America confronted Pak with solid proofs & intel and ordered them to end their double game. America threatened to bombard Pak and reduce it to rubbles like Afghanistan. "Either you are with us, or you are against us". "We'll declare war on you and fuck the shit out of you if you don't hand over Osama".
  • Pakistan had no other choice. But they couldn't take part in the military operation to capture/kill Osama. Pak told USA "We'll be outcast from our Muslim nations' brotherhood. There will be riots in Pakistan. Al-Qaeda and Taliban, who are just next door, will blast us to oblivion." etc..
  • USA said "Alright. We'll make it look like you were not aware of this operation. Just allow us to fly our team in".

Thus, the stage was set. Now, on the fateful night...

[ Continued in Full Post ]

Pak army/intelligence turned off the radars or whatever. Pak army cuts off power to that entire area. The US strike team flew in and landed on the compound. They themselves blew up one helicopter. [Technical snag claim is BS] This was done so that Pak save face and can claim internally among "Muslim nations' brotherhood" that Pak army had indeed intercepted the strike team and "pak army" shot them down to save "Our messiah".

There's a very good probability that the ISI/Pak army had at least one of their representative inside the compound as caretaker [or whatever] of the house or mediator all along. So far, he's been safeguarding Osama and reporting to Pak authorities. And been updating Osama about any developments. But this time, as Pak was exposed, he was ordered by Pak to help Americans when they strike. So he did. Probably he hid Osama's firearm before the strike and carried out other sabotages inside the compound. Thus when the SEAL team striked, they ran down the place, Osama was unarmed, all occupants were killed or captured and not a single American was even wounded.

Coming to think of it, I believe the SEAL got orders to "Capture Osama. And kill the rest. Kill them all. No survivors". That's why first it was announced that Osama's wife was killed, probably 'coz they didn't know it really didn't go as planned. In reality, when Pak was told that "We're here for blood", Pak said "WTF..!! Even women & kids?? You can't do that". After some deliberation, it was decided that women and kids will be spared. And thus later White House statement changed to "She was shot in leg, but not killed".

Now, the biggest question. Whether Osama was really killed. He might've been. He might not have been. The hurried burial "at see" is highly suspicious. And the way US is refusing to show evidence, I'm highly doubtful. If you ask me, until America shows some proof, I ain't believing. America doesn't care about Muslims getting shocked or upset by seeing the 'gruesome' picture of dead Osama. Hell, they were dancing & chanting & what not all over the country when Obama announced the killing. And now US is feeding us this BS.... releasing picture will endanger national security... What crap!!

Most probably Osama is captured alive and is being held at highly classified location like Area 51 or something for interrogation. They need him for all sorts of information and future plans. But couldn't let the world know that they have Osama. 'Coz then they'll have to follow the "Law" and shit. No. They faked his death and now they can do whatever they want with him. Osama is at their mercy and has no other option than to cooperate.

Internally, he ordered another team of experts to analyze the photo and determine if anyone can expose it as 'fake'. Well, the team returned with results - "Yes. We can".

Now, the photo controversy. First white house said they're pondering whether or not to release the photos. Internally, Obama asked CIA team to chalk something up. Great photoshoppers were assigned their task. When the photo was doctored and shown to Obama, he was impressed and announcement was made "Photo will be released. The Pros outweigh the cons". Internally, he ordered another team of experts to analyze the photo and determine if anyone can expose it as 'fake'. Well, the team returned with results - "Yes. We can". Obama said "Damn it!!" and announced "No no. The pic is very gruesome. It'll lead to bloodbath on streets". Err.. what happened to "Pros outweigh cons"...??

Next question - "What happens to Pak, now that it is exposed". The world is asking Pak to come clean. On face, USA will question Pak, but behind closed doors, it'll say "Alright pal. We're leaving you this time. Don't do this again". And the world will move on. But this might not end just here. America might in near future decide "Fuck, this ain't enough. We want more" and make a move on Pak. They'll say "Dude, Pakistan harbored Osama and stabbed us in the back" and declare war on Pakistan. They'll destroy/capture their nuclear arsenal and suck up whatever resource they can from Pak. And we all now what happens to the land after USA/hurricane Katrina has swept over it. Problem for Pakistan would be it won't be able to cry fowl. It can't claim then that it had helped USA in the Osama killing. 'Coz at that time, they'll know for sure that America isn't gonna back down, no matter what the world says. It'll be "Iraq & WMDs" all over again. Also, if they declare that they had helped US kill Osama, then "Muslim nations' brotherhood" won't come to fight for Pakistan in that war. Hence, Pak will have to endure the war, wash their hands off their nukes and maybe cease to exists as 'safe heaven for terrorists'.

USA will now have this sword hanging over Pakistan's head. Watch out how this unfolds. I seriously believe that we are on the brink of World War 3. What with what's happening in Libya and other middle-east countries. They are gonna be pissed sooner or later and declare a war, which will snowball worldwide. Also, this volatile situation in Pak now. Also, the way China is lining up its troops along the India-China border or Line of Actual Control. The whole world seems to be on the brink of another world war waiting to happen. And if that happens, you can be rest assured that someone is gonna use nukes. Is the world really gonna end in 2012? That too, not by external forces but in the hand of mankind itself?

To some it all up, these are my conclusions -
  • Pakistan was aware of Osama's presence in Abbottabad. In fact, ISI/Pak Army was sheltering him there. There's no doubt about it.
  • USA ordered Pak to cooperate or face war.
  • Pakistan personnel knew of the operation in advance and also provided support in the operation. Here also I don't have any doubt.
  • Osama is most probably captured alive. The killing is a hoax spread by White House.

Disclaimer: Don't brand me another Conspiracy theorist. What I've said above is common sense and use of logic. If you ask me for proof, well, I don't have any. Also, I hope that Osama is really killed this time. But until proven otherwise, the above account IS what I'll continue to believe.

Secularism : Majority & Minority | Thursday, October 25, 2007 |

Latest Guest Blogger here is Sukumar Sundaram. He blogs at Suksy's Pensieve. This is what he's got to tell about himself
An introvert who is different from the crowd, who takes pride in being different and being unique, who tries to keep people happy but fails miserably coz of his own "introversy", who does not mind failures and who is happy @ all times, who reads anything and everything under the sun, who listens to all kinds of music and who survives on books, bikes, music and popcorn.. that's quite everything about me! :)
His post follows -

This post is not dedicated to anyone, and not against anyone. It is just a forwarded email which has been copied and pasted over here. I had posted earlier on the same topic and here i go again!

  • Do you consider that - Sanskrit is communal and Urdu is secular, Mandir is Communal and Masjid is Secular, Sadhu is Communal and Imam is secular, VandeMatharam is communal and Allah-O-Akbar is secular, Shriman is communal and Mian is secular, Hinduism is Communal and Islam is Secular?

  • Why Godhra is blown out of proportion, when no-one talks of the ethnic cleansing of 4 lakh Hindus from Kashmir?

  • When Christian and Muslim schools can teach Bible and Quran, Why Hindus cannot teach Gita in our schools?

  • When Haj pilgrims are given subsidy, why Hindu pilgrims to Amarnath, Sabarimalai & Kailash Mansarovar are taxed?

  • There are nearly 52 Muslim countries. Show one Muslim country which provides Haj subsidy.

  • If Muslims & Christians are minorities in Maharashtra, UP, Bihar etc., are Hindus not minorities in J&K, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya etc? Why are Hindus denied minority rights in these states?

  • In India today Hindus are 85%. If Hindus are intolerant, how come Masjids and madrasas are thriving? How come Muslims are offering Namaz on the road? How come Muslims are proclaiming 5 times a day on loud speakers that there is no God except Allah?

  • Show one Muslim country where Hindus are extended the special rights that Muslims are accorded in India?

  • Show one country where the 85% majority craves for the indulgence of the 15% minority.

  • Show one Muslim country, which has a Non-Muslim as its President or Prime Minister.

  • Show one Mullah or Maulvi who has declared a 'fatwa' against terrorists.

  • Hindu-majority Maharashtra, Bihar, Kerala, Pondicherry , etc. have in the past elected Muslims as CM’s. Can you ever imagine a Hindu becoming the CM of Muslim - majority J&K?

  • In 1947, when India was partitioned, the Hindu population in Pakistan was about 24%. Today it is not even 1%. In 1947, the Hindu population in East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) was 30%. Today it is about 7%. What happened to the missing Hindus? Do Hindus have human rights?

And why do you feel that we are "showing off" our majority status and pointing at the "minorities" by celebrating our festivals??? Why are you ignoring the fact that we do celebrate the minority festivals too.. we do have Christmas and easter get together, we do have social meetings on the occasions of ramzan, id and moharram where everyone participates.

How safe is your office? | Friday, September 07, 2007 |

Last week, there was this poll on the homepage of our company's intranet - "DO you think the security at Ness Towers is sufficient to avert a terrorist attack?". 46% nessians responded positively, which is quite alarming to me. 'Coz what I experienced yesterday, was totally inappropriate as far as security is concerned.

Yesterday we had a farewell of one of our team mates. So, we three people went out to get some gift and sweets for her. When we returned, we were carrying two huge carry bags; one having the gift and the other having the eatables. We didn't attract a single raised eye brow from security personals at the gate, leave alone the bags being checked or being questioned. Once we were inside, we joked about how easy it is to carry a bomb inside. It was just any other joke - cracked, laughed at n forgotten. But later it got me thinking.

[ Continued in Full Post ]

Really how easy it is to carry a bomb inside a corporate house.
  • If the security doesn't check you because you have 'ID cards' - that's a big flaw. Anybody knows how easily one can get a fake card in India.
  • If they don't check you 'coz they know you in person or by face - even that is not professional behavior. Terrorists don't drop from sky. They could be anyone among us. There's nothing to feel offended at this. I'm not branding your company as nurturing ground of terrorists. What I'm saying is security personals shouldn't turn a blind eye on anyone.
  • Even if some known face [to the security] is not directly involved in such activities, they can be compelled/forced to carry out the operation. Taking family hostage or any such pressure is sufficient for someone to succumb. Now, if someone feels that this possibility is 'too filmy' - then lemme tell u that films are not just wild imaginations of film-makers.
Now, if someone feels that "Our office is not that high profile location, and thus won't be targeted by terrorists"; I'll just say 'Why take the chance'? We people just don't believe that something could happen to us, as if we were born just to live a stir-less life. Everything good - is happening to someone else, every bad news - involves someone else. Why don't we realize someday we could be that someone?

Now that the security at all the high-profile areas is expected to be top-notch, terrorists will obviously target some soft target, which priorly won't attract much attention. Their primary motive is to cause huge massacre. And if that involves techies in silicon valley, what more could they want? If your office building is in a residential area or is surrounded by other company buildings, the area is bustling with IT people; then U should know this could be a target. We better be prepared.

Metal detector scans are of no use. No one's gonna try to wreck havoc with a knife. I'm not sure how bombs or RDX is detected. So, not sure about the feasibility of the proper system installation. The least I expect is any big package to be inspected, thoroughly. Or security experts would know better what to do.

Now, this inspection thing might irritate some people. I hope we become a little more tolerant and respect the greater concern. It's for your own safe being. Would you prefer disturbance of checking for few seconds or being the victim of another Hyderabad kind of incident?

How safe is Bangalore? | Wednesday, August 29, 2007 |

For many, the last weekend brought the worst that humanity can face. The twin blasts in Hyderabad rocked the nation. But did it really? Nobody pays these blasts much attention unless this happens on their home's backyard or some of their relative is involved. Otherwise it's just another topic for their tea time 'expert' discussion, at the end of which government neglect is held responsible. But are we justified at pointing fingers at the government? How much can gov do if there's no or minimal participation from the public...? Gov is not god.

Another round of blame game is gonna start between the center and AP now, each trying to rip apart the other one. The energy they are wasting in this could've been well invested in helping the victims. But the ways in India....

This incident made me wonder - how safe are we in Bangalore? When someone can enter IISc with huge cache of ammunitions and wreck havoc, how hard is it gonna be for them to enter Forum or such highly crowded public places with deadly explosives more than enough to blow that place apart? Anybody can easily dodge the security check at the entrance of these malls. The place - bustling with youth window shopping - elders taking a stroll - kids flocking McDonald - packed to brims. One huge explosion in midst of all these and their world will come crashing down.

[ Continued in Full Post ]

Those who think that it's impossible to dodge the security with that much explosive - I'll say - dude wake up. Anyways, even if they don't enter the main building - a powerful explosion at the gate itself will cause huge damage. Entry gate is the most crowded at any given moment with ever streaming crowd pushing and shoving to get in or out. One strong blast amidst such packed crowd will throw mangled bodies, which were cheering alive person moments ago, at least 10 meters away. Pieces of flesh will be flying here and there. Even the thought of such possibility gives me shivers. I feel sick - at the same time hatred for all those devils who are executing these sins in the name of jihad.

I'm not against some particular community. That's just not done. Just as I'd like to say All men are not dog, the whole community is not terrorist. I don't get why my countrymen don't understand this game of greedy politicians? We have been through this before - since the age of Mugals - East India Company - partition - more recently - Mumbai Riots - Mumbai Serial Blasts - Gujarat. Still we don't learn a lesson and every time we become the puppets in the hands of politicians. It's high time that we all stand together against all such separatist force. Gather 'round people and let's show them what we've got.

End note: Quoting 'Times View'.
As a nation, we are impotent when it comes to tackling terror. After every attack, our police and politicians make the same old noises, but nothing changes. Mumbai's been hit time and time again by serial blasts. Delhi's been targeted repeatedly, including once on the eve of Diwali. Hyderabad has been struck twice within 4 months this year. The IISc in Bangalore was attacked in 2005 .... the list is endless.

What's almost as terrible as our inability to prevent these attacks is our abysmal record in bringing the perpetrators to book. It's taken 14 years for sentencing in the 1993 Mumbai blasts - and the masterminds are still at large. Clearly, there's no resolve to act. Worse, there are stories of political protection.

there hasn't been an attack on US soil since 2001

The US has come in for criticism for its brute response to 9/11. This is not a defense of Washington's approach to terrorism, but the fact is, there hasn't been an attack on US soil since 2001. Is India going to simply stand by and watch innocent lives being snuffed out with chilling regularity? It's time we took a hard line on terrorism.
